Arshad Mohammed is a PhD candidate in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering at the University of Cincinnati, with a background in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at UC Simulation Centre since November 2021, Arshad also holds positions as a Nightly Operations Coordinator and Teaching Assistant at the University of Cincinnati. In these roles, Arshad has engaged in teaching students about fluid dynamics experiments and developed a fire extinguisher robot aimed at enhancing safety. Previous experience includes a design internship at Tata Motors focused on Direct Run Loss reduction, and a manufacturing engineering internship at Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited, where Arshad observed production methods and proposed new cost-effective designs.
