Orlando Hoilett

Orlando Hoilett is an accomplished academic and engineer currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Cincinnati since January 2023. As a co-founder and Senior Hardware Engineer at Predictive Wear since August 2016, Orlando combines entrepreneurial experience with technical expertise. Prior roles include postdoctoral scholar positions at Purdue University and Vanderbilt University from 2021 to 2022, and graduate and research assistant roles at Purdue University and the Systems Biology and Bioengineering Undergraduate Research Experience from 2012 to 2020. Orlando has contributed to education as a teaching assistant for undergraduate courses at Vanderbilt University. Orlando holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
