Hans Smits

Hans Smits has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Hans currently holds the position of Associate Director of IT BSO at the University of Colorado, starting in June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Program Manager at Execution Specialists Group LLC from August 2022 to June 2023. From November 2019 to August 2022, they served as a Senior Project Manager at North Highland. Before that, they were a Senior Delivery Manager at Vail Resorts from June 2018 to October 2019. Hans also worked as a Collaboration Services Manager at ARCADIS in 2012 and as a Program Manager at Insight Consulting Services in 2008. Hans has held various other roles throughout their career, mainly in program and project management.

Hans Smits obtained a Master's degree in International Business from Maastricht University from 1993 to 1998, with a focus on Strategy and Innovation. In 1997-1998, they also participated in an exchange program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute - The Lally School of Management, where they pursued an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Technology Management. In 2020, they obtained a certification in "Design Thinking: Understanding the Process" from LinkedIn.
