Savanna Brown

Doctoral Student at University of Connecticut

Savanna Brown is currently a Doctoral Student pursuing a PhD in Ecology & Environmental Biology at the University of Connecticut since June 2023. Prior to this, Savanna served as an Assistant Program Coordinator at Harvard University, where responsibilities included coordinating and mentoring undergraduate research students for the Harvard Forest Research Experience for Undergraduates Program. Additional experience includes the role of Undergraduate Program Coordinator for the Long Term Ecological Research Network, where Savanna guided undergraduate travel fellows at the 2022 All Scientist's Meeting and presented on topics related to invisible disabilities. Previous positions also include Lab Manager at Indiana University Bloomington, where infrastructure for research and lab activities was maintained, and various research roles at Bowling Green State University, Princeton University, and Harvard University. Savanna holds a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology & Ecology and Spanish from Bowling Green State University, completed in 2020.
