Henry Lester

Henry Lester is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of systems engineering. Currently serving as an Associate Professor and Director of the Systems Engineering Program at the University of Dayton since 2021, Henry previously held positions at the University of South Alabama from 2014 to 2021 as both an Assistant Professor and Instructor. Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Assistant at The University of Alabama from 2009 to 2013 and a distinguished 20-year career in the US Army. Henry holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Civil Engineering and multiple master's degrees in Civil Engineering, Applied Statistics, and Operations Management from The University of Alabama and the University of Arkansas, complemented by a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
