Brian Gearity

Brian Gearity is the owner of Brian Gearity Sommelier LLC, a position held since May 2023. Currently serving as the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the University of Denver since September 2014, Brian has also held roles as Director and Associate Professor, as well as Interim Associate Dean for the Graduate School of Professional Psychology during the summer quarter of 2021. Additionally, Brian has been the Chief Academic Officer at SPKNmedia since June 2020. Previous academic appointments include Assistant Professor at The University of Southern Mississippi and Strength & Conditioning Coach at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and the Cleveland Guardians. Brian's academic qualifications include a PhD in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, an MBA focused on Executive Leadership from the University of Denver, an MS in Human Performance & Sport Studies from the University of Tennessee, and a BA in Physical Education & Exercise Science from John Carroll University.
