Susan Kinnear

Susan Kinnear is a highly accomplished academic currently serving as Professor and Chair of International Communication at the University of Dundee, where Susan also holds the position of University Strategic Lead for Scholarship. Kinnear has an extensive background in communications education, having previously served as Associate Dean (Education) and Head of Management & Marketing at the same institution. Additional roles include Affiliate Member at the University of St Andrews’ CILTER, Board Member at ThinkSpace Education, and Senior Examiner for the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. Kinnear has held leadership positions at Cardiff University and Manchester Metropolitan University, significantly increasing student recruitment and enhancing program quality. Kinnear's academic qualifications include a PhD from The University of Manchester and multiple degrees in media, public relations, and marketing from various institutions.
