Nathan Burden

Nathan Burden currently serves as the Director of IT Services at the University of Exeter, a position held since April 2013, where leadership is provided to a team delivering IT services aligned with the university’s "Strategy 2030." Previous roles at the University include Assistant Director Solutions Delivery, Head of IT Partnerships and Service Delivery, and IT Programme Manager, focusing on ensuring effective IT service delivery and strategic project management. Prior to joining the University of Exeter, Nathan was with Flybe from November 2000 to March 2013, where significant contributions were made as Head of Business Technology and Head of IT Services, overseeing IT infrastructure and business technology initiatives for the airline. Education credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Plymouth and an Advanced GNVQ in Information Technology from South Devon College. Nathan also serves as a Governor for the Oldway Local Standards Board since October 2021.
