Florence Halstead

Florence Halstead is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Glasgow since January 2023, contributing to the NERC funded GALLANT Project by fostering collaboration between scientists and community members to drive sustainable change in Glasgow. Prior to this role, Florence served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Hull from October 2017 to January 2023, where contributions included developing youth-led initiatives to address climate challenges in Vietnam, and conducting needs analyses for soil nutrition tools in resource-limited settings. Florence's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geography from the University of Hull, completed in March 2022, and a BA (Hons) in Education from the same institution, earned in 2016.
