Cesarina Thompson

Dean, College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions at University of Hartford

Cesarina Thompson is the current Dean of the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions at the University of Hartford. Cesarina previously served as the Dean of American International College from July 2012 to June 2018. Prior to that, they were a Professor at Southern Connecticut State University from September 1986 to July 2012, where they achieved tenure and was promoted to Full Professor in the Department of Nursing.

Cesarina Thompson has a PhD in Adult Education from the University of Connecticut, a Master's degree in Nursing Education from the University of Connecticut, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Bridgeport. Cesarina is certified by the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health as a Registered Nurse.

Cesarina Thompson works with Dale Merrill - Dean, The Hartt School, Suzanne Anderson Mcneil - Assistant Vice President for Student Success, and Sean Meehan - Associate Vice President for Development. Cesarina Thompson reports to Gregory S. Woodward, President.
