Poonam Salhotra

At UHD, Dr. Gulati is responsible for overseeing university-wide community engagement and service learning committee efforts. She summarizes university-wide projects and accomplishments for QEP, Carnegie, President's Honor Roll, etc. She also coordinates with several departments to ensure projects are being carried out, assessed, and documented. Dr. Gulati works on campus programs focused on student retention and identifies possible grants for community-based research projects. She is also responsible for appointing student community engagement college work study assignments and seeking funding sources for a community-based leadership development program with campus and community stakeholders.
