Anand Mathew

Anand Mathew is a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Houston since January 2022, responsible for grading homework and providing feedback in courses related to Dynamics and Methods of Applied Mathematics. Prior to this role, Anand served as the Head of Suspension Department at Team Daedalus Racing from December 2019 to December 2020, leading a team in the design and fabrication of ATV suspensions and achieving a 3rd place finish at FMAE BAJA 2019 in Hyderabad, India. Earlier, Anand contributed as an Executive Member of Team Daedalus Racing, focusing on the fabrication of suspension components and chassis. Anand holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston, expected in 2026, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, completed in 2021.
