Colby Stoever

Colby Stoever currently serves as the Executive Director of Institutional Research and Information Management at the University of Houston since June 2025. Prior to this role, Colby Stoever held significant positions in institutional effectiveness, including Associate Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness, Research, & Planning at the University of New Orleans, and Executive Director of Institutional Research at UT Health San Antonio. With expertise in SAS programming, statistical analysis, and data management, Colby Stoever has also contributed to various educational institutions, such as the Austin Independent School District and Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, focusing on data analysis and accreditation reporting. Colby Stoever began a career in educational research at the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board as a Senior Research Specialist. Colby Stoever earned a Ph.D. in Research and Experimental Psychology from The University of Texas at El Paso and a B.A. in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin.
