David Geis

David Geis possesses extensive experience in operations management and maintenance within the food processing and distribution sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Preventative Maintenance, Fire Protection, Elevators, and Fleet Services at the University of Houston since August 2021, David previously held roles such as Assistant Director of Operations and Utilities Services. David's background includes managing a large production facility at Cadeco Distribution Systems during the pandemic, overseeing maintenance at Farmer Brothers, and ensuring the safe operation of a million-square-foot facility at Atlantic Coffee Solutions. With a degree in Agricultural Engineering and Biochemistry from Purdue University, David also brings valuable experience from the US Navy as a Nuclear Power Submarine Line Officer.
