Donna Kacmar, FAIA, is an accomplished architect and educator with extensive experience in both academia and practice. Since September 2018, Kacmar has served as an Architect at Architect Works, PLLC. Concurrently, Kacmar has been a Professor at the University of Houston since 2007, where responsibilities include the role of Interim Associate Dean and founding Director of the Materials Research Collaborative in 2009, which supports over 1,000 students and area professionals in material innovation and research. Kacmar previously held positions as Associate Professor and Technology Coordinator at Architect Works, Inc. from 1999 to 2011. Academic credentials include a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture from Texas A&M University.
