Janis Rose is an experienced Computer Science Faculty member at the University of Illinois Springfield since 2001, contributing to the institution being recognized as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education, jointly sponsored by the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security. Janis serves as the IMA President for Illinois within the FBI InfraGard, fostering collaboration between the FBI and the private sector to enhance security measures. Additionally, Janis is a graduate and member of the FBI Citizens' Academy Alumni Association and has served as an adjunct faculty member at Robert Morris University. As a Cisco Certified Instructor at Capital Area Career Center, Janis also holds active involvement in the International Ethics Committee of the Information Systems Security Association.
