Austin Verthein

Trustee at University of Illinois System

Austin Verthein, from Oswego, Illinois, is a senior majoring in Political Science and Accounting. Currently, Mr. Verthein is working as a paralegal at the Illinois 4th District Appellate Prosecutor's Office, in preparation for law school after receiving his bachelor's degree. He either seeks to specialize in criminal law or financial law. On campus, he is serving his second term as student trustee, as well as being involved in Student Government, Catholic Student Organization, Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity chapter, Investment Club, and the Capital Scholars Honor Program.
