Cynthia Carrasco

Cyndi Carrasco serves as an Indiana State Senator since November 2023 and holds the position of Vice President and General Counsel at the University of Indianapolis since July 2023. Prior to these roles, Cyndi was the Assistant Majority Attorney for the Indiana House of Representatives from January to July 2023 and worked as Of Counsel at Riley Bennett Egloff, LLP from February 2022 to January 2023. Cyndi's extensive experience with the State of Indiana includes roles as Deputy General Counsel, Inspector General, Executive Director, and Staff Attorney from May 2006 to January 2022. Cyndi earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from The University of Texas at El Paso. Cyndi also completed additional education through the Indiana State Bar Association in 2014.
