Simon Barnes

Simon Barnes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in partnerships, funding, and business development. Currently serving as the Strategic Partnerships Development Manager at the University of Kent since November 2017, Simon is focused on fostering long-term collaborations for learning, research, and innovation. Previously held roles include Funding and Partnerships Manager and Industry Engagement Manager at the same university. With a strong background in commercial roles, Simon was the Commercial Director at HSSMI and Business Development Manager prior to that.
