Henrijs Kalkis

Developer And Director Of The Ph.d. Study Program “human Factors, Occupational Safety And Health” at University of Latvia

Henrijs Kalkis has a diverse work experience that spans different roles and responsibilities. Henrijs has worked as a Professor, Guest Professor, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor at various institutions, including the University of Latvia and Riga Stradins University. In addition to their academic roles, they have also been involved in founding and directing organizations such as the Latvian Ergonomics Society and WES Efficiency. Henrijs Kalkis has also contributed as a Senior Consultant, Board Member, and BAFF Alumni council member in different capacities. Furthermore, they have engaged in scholarly activities as a visiting professor and scholar at Penn State University.

Henrijs Kalkis obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in International Business from Latvijas Universitate in 2007, followed by a Master of Science in Business Administration and Management in 2009. Henrijs then earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Management in 2013. Additionally, they received various certifications in ergonomics and research subjects throughout the years.
