Rakesh Tiwari

Rakesh Tiwari currently serves as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Uppsala University, focusing on the development of Aghora v2.0, a photosynthesis analyzer. Concurrently, Rakesh holds the position of Visiting Scientist at the University of Leeds, where involvement includes conducting photosynthesis measurements and managing environmental sensors for a NERC-funded project. Previous experience includes a role as a MRV expert at Kosher Climate India, establishing a trace gas analysis facility and training a team for emission measurements, alongside various positions in research and development at institutions like the University of Birmingham, Environmental Defense Fund, and Fair Climate Network. Rakesh earned a PhD in Geography from the University of Leeds and holds a Master’s in Applied Botany from Kuvempu University.
