Anastasia Pavlova

Anastasia Pavlova, CPA, CA has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of accounting and finance. Anastasia currently serves as the Executive Director of Financial Services at The University of Lethbridge since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Financial Reporting and Analysis at the BC Provincial Treasury, Ministry of Finance from December 2014 to August 2021.

Before joining the Ministry of Finance, Anastasia held multiple roles at CPA Canada (Chartered Professional Accountants Canada). Anastasia worked as an Online Facilitator from October 2013 to December 2020 and as a UFE Marker from October 2013 to September 2014.

Anastasia also gained valuable experience working at the Ministry of Social Development and Social Innovation as a Senior Manager of Accounting and Financial Reporting in 2014.

Earlier in their career, they worked at The Office of the Auditor General (BC) as an Audit Senior, Manager, Training and Development from September 2010 to February 2014. Anastasia also worked as an Auditor at the Revenue Management Division, Ministry of Finance, BC from May 2008 to August 2010.

Anastasia's career began at Dollar Financial Group, where they worked as a Staff Accountant from May 2006 to April 2008.

Anastasia Pavlova, CPA, CA completed their education at the CA School of Business from 2010 to 2013, earning a degree in Chartered Accountancy with a focus on Accounting and Finance. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Victoria from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, Anastasia completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics at the University of Washington from 2000 to 2001.
