Nasim Mahmud

Nasim Mahmud, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning with extensive experience across various academic and industry roles. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at UnitedHealth Group since December 2016, Nasim has also held positions such as Adjunct Faculty at National College of Ireland, Research Fellow at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics, and Technology Lead at the Dynamics Lab, University College Dublin. With foundational experience in interaction design from SatPoint AB and multiple postdoctoral roles, Nasim has contributed to significant research initiatives, including the AUTHENTIC project. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from Hasselt University and advanced degrees from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and University of Dhaka.
