Lizzy Conder

Director, Strategic Planning & Performance at University of London

Lizzy Conder is the current Director of Strategic Planning and Performance at the University of London. Lizzy has held this position since September 2020. Prior to this, they were the Director of Finance at the University of London from March 2019 to September 2020. Lizzy has also held the position of Acting Finance Director at the University of London from October 2018 to March 2019. From May 2014 to October 2018, they were the Deputy Director of Finance and Head of Financial Services at the University of London, where they were responsible for financial accounting, financial services and processes, financial controls, tax, treasury and endowment management across the University. From July 2012 to April 2014, they were the Head of Tax, Europe at Sapient. Prior to that, they were a Taxation Adviser at 3i Group from November 2004 to July 2012. Lizzy began their career as an Assistant Tax Manager at KPMG in London from November 2003 to November 2004 before moving to KPMG as a Tax Consultant from August 2000 to October 2003.

Lizzy Conder graduated from The Blandford School, Dorset before attending Sturminster Newton High School. Lizzy then went on to study Modern Lizzy'story at the University of St. Andrews, where they earned their Master of Arts (M.A.). Conder is currently a Robert T Jones Jr Fellow at Harvard University, also studying Modern Lizzy'story.
