Mike Winter

Director, Global Engagement at University of London

Mike Winter has had a long and varied career in international relations and engagement. Mike started out with the British Council in 1981, working in various roles related to cultural relations between the UK and other countries. In 2009, they became the Director of IOE International at the University of London's Institute of Education, where they oversaw the development and delivery of the IOE's internationalisation strategy. In their current role as Director of Global Engagement at the University of London, Winter is responsible for leading the university's efforts to build relationships and partnerships with institutions and organisations around the world.

Mike Winter has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Languages from the University of Cambridge. Mike also has certification from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in Advanced Certificate in Marketing Management Practice and certification from the Royal Society of Arts in Certificate in Teaching English as Foreign Language to Adults.
