Anna Osland currently serves as the Director of Research at the Kathleen Blanco Public Policy Center at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, a position held since November 2020. Previously, Anna held multiple roles within the same center, including Associate Director and Senior Research Associate. Prior to this, experience included leadership positions at One Acadiana, serving as Director of Workforce & Policy Initiatives and Manager of Policy Initiatives, and running a consulting business from 2013 to 2016. Anna's early career involved academic roles at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where Anna earned a Ph.D. in Land Use Planning, Hazard Mitigation, and Environmental Equity, and held various fellowships and instructive positions. Additional experience includes project administration with the Salvation Army World Service Organization and teaching high school through Teach for America in Washington, D.C. Anna's academic foundation includes a Master of Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Politics from Willamette University.
