Christine Williams

Christine Williams, M.S., serves as the Associate Director of the Office of First-Year Experience at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette since August 2014, providing leadership in First-Year Seminar policy and coordinating academic components of the program. With a robust teaching background, Christine also held the position of Associate Instructor in First-Year Experience, facilitating courses and maintaining student records using Moodle. Prior experience includes roles as an instructor in Criminal Justice and College Success at South Louisiana Community College, where responsibilities encompassed teaching, program leadership, and dual enrollment instruction for high school students. Earlier, Christine worked as a Child Welfare Specialist for the Louisiana Department of Child and Family Services, managing child welfare cases. Christine holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science, both in Criminal Justice, from Grambling State University.
