Gabriela Mustata Wilson, PhD, MSc, FHIMSS, SNAI, FIAHSI, serves as the Director of the Louisiana Center for Health Innovation and holds the positions of Professor, Rivet Endowed Chair, and Acadian Ambulance Service Eminent Scholar Endowed Chair in Health Informatics at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Gabriela is also a co-founder of the Pul Alliance for Digital Health and Equity. Previously, Gabriela was a Professor and Co-Director at the Multi-Interprofessional Center for Health Informatics at The University of Texas at Arlington, where Gabriela also directed Health and Public Health Informatics. Prior experience includes serving as Chair of Health Informatics and Information Management and Associate Professor of Health Informatics at the University of Southern Indiana. Gabriela holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Houston and completed a Healthcare Analytics Certificate Program at the University of California, Davis.
