Marie-Pierre Pausch-Antoine has extensive work experience in the field of academic libraries and education. Marie-Pierre began their career in 1999 at the European Commission - Eurydice / European network on Education in Brussels, where they worked as an information manager. In 2006, they joined the Université du Luxembourg as the Chief Librarian, and later became the Director of the Luxembourg Learning Centre in 2018. Additionally, they have been actively involved in the LIBER Architecture Group, serving as both the Chair and a Board Member. Their role in the group involves promoting the exchange of experience between librarians and architects in Europe and raising awareness of new projects and trends in library architecture. Throughout their career, Marie-Pierre Pausch-Antoine has demonstrated a strong dedication to supporting education and advancing the field of academic libraries.

Marie-Pierre Pausch-Antoine pursued their education in the field of library science and book management. Marie-Pierre obtained a Bachelor's degree in Library Science and Documentation from Haute École de Namur-Liège-Luxembourg Hénallux between 1996 and 1999. Prior to that, they completed a Candidature in Romance Philology with a focus on Latin studies at Université de Namur from 1994 to 1996. Later, they earned a Master's degree (Bac +5) in Book Science and Libraries Management from Université libre de Bruxelles between 1999 and 2001.
