Robert Placido

Robert Placido currently serves as the Vice Chancellor of Academic and Student Affairs at the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education since December 2022, overseeing academic policy, student services, and compliance. Prior to this role, Robert served as Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs at the University of Maine System and Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs from July 2017 to December 2022, where responsibilities included strategic planning and program development. Robert's earlier experiences include a position as Associate Provost for Technology and CIO at Texas Woman's University, and various managerial roles in retail and technology, alongside serving in the U.S. Air Force. Robert holds a PhD in Higher Education with a focus on Statistics from the University of North Texas and an MBA in Finance from Southern Methodist University.
