David Imig

David Imig has extensive experience in the field of education, currently serving as a Professor of the Practice at the University of Maryland, College Park, since January 2006. In addition, David has been contributing to the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching as a Senior Fellow since March 2005. Previously, David held the position of President/CEO at the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education from September 1970 until December 2005, leading a non-profit organization that focuses on college and university schools, colleges, and departments of education. David holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Education from the University of Illinois, earned between 1959 and 1969.
