Nahin Ferdousi-Rokib

Nahin Ferdousi-Rokib is a doctoral candidate in Chemical Engineering at the University of Maryland, specializing in the impact of organic aerosol properties on cloud condensation nuclei formation and climate effects. Current work as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Environmental Aerosol Research Lab commenced in August 2021. Previously, the role of DOE SCGSR Fellow at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory involved cloud parcel modeling from July 2023 to January 2024. Experience includes serving as a Lab Equipment Specialist I at Syneos Health, focusing on automation in clinical trials, and independent research on emissions from 3D printers at Lafayette College. Additional research experience encompasses positions at Columbia University and Lafayette College, highlighting a strong foundation in chemical engineering research. Educational background includes a PhD in progress from the University of Maryland and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Lafayette College, alongside an IB Diploma from the Baccalaureate School for Global Education.
