Sriram Prasad is currently a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, focusing on the development of a Deep Imitation Learning framework for automating crab meat extraction with a UR5e arm and implementing Convolutional Neural Network architectures for object detection in crab processing systems. Prior experience includes working as a Design Engineer at iLenSys Technologies Pvt Ltd, where Sriram designed over 200 cable assemblies for new product development, and a Project Trainee at the Defence Research and Development Organisation, involved in structural design for space applications. Sriram has also interned at Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited and Mercedes-Benz India Pvt. Ltd. Sriram holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University and is pursuing a Master of Engineering in Robotics at the University of Maryland.
