Sandhya Gunness

Sandhya Gunness is a lecturer at the University of Mauritius, with expertise in Open Educational Resources, social networking, learning design, ICT integration, and technology leadership and management since August 2007. Responsibilities include developing and delivering educational technology modules for BSc and MSc students, conducting tutorials, designing syllabi, creating class materials, and setting examination papers. Sandhya also leads professional development programs in e-learning and instructional design and conducts research on open and online learning, multimedia, and innovative teaching practices. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Horizontal Collaborative Networks from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, a Doctor of Education in Open Educational Practices from the University of Brighton, an MSc in E-business from the University of Mauritius, a BSc in Physics from St. Xavier's College, and a Cambridge Higher School Certificate.
