Peter Mansell

Peter Mansell is a seasoned academic with extensive experience in veterinary education and clinical sciences. Since January 1994, Peter has held various positions at the University of Melbourne, currently serving as a Professor and Head of the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, following roles as Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer, and Lecturer. Peter's responsibilities encompass undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research, and administration. Additionally, from August 2008 to March 2019, Peter served as President and Member of the Veterinary Practitioners Registration Board of Victoria. Earlier experience includes work as a Veterinarian at the Rural Veterinary Unit and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Guelph. Peter holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD and a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) from the University of Melbourne.
