Michael Huberty

Michael Huberty is an experienced educator and mathematics specialist with a diverse background in teaching, assessment, and coaching. Currently serving as a Mathematics Assessment Specialist at the Minnesota Department of Education since August 2019 and as a mathematics, statistics, and applied science teacher at Mounds View Public Schools since August 1998, Michael has also held coaching positions with Science Olympiad, Inc. and the Minnesota State High School Mathematics League since the mid-1990s. Additionally, Michael contributed to the Minnesota Department of Health as an auditor and case investigator during the COVID-19 pandemic. Academically, Michael pursued advanced studies in educational psychology and statistics at the University of Minnesota, complemented by a Master of Arts in Teaching from Hamline University and a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Minnesota.
