Dr. Hilary Martens

Hilary Martens, PhD, MBA, serves as an Associate Professor of Geophysics with tenure at the University of Montana since August 2016 and also holds the position of Faculty Affiliate. Martens has a diverse background in geophysics and data analytics, currently contributing as a Data & Analytics Expert at Kamuno AG and as an Academic Guest at ETH Zürich. Recent engagements include a role as Visiting Professor at Caltech and prior academic visits to ETH Zürich. Educational credentials include a PhD in Geophysics from Caltech, an M.Phil. from the University of Cambridge, an M.Sc. in Space Science from UCL, an MBA from the University of Montana, and dual B.A. degrees in Physics and Fine Arts (Music) from the University of Montana.
