Yemataw Wondie is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Gondar, where a career began as a graduate assistant in January 2000. Wondie has significantly contributed to educational quality management as the Director of the Education Quality Assurance and Audit Directorate, establishing a robust framework for quality assurance across various academic departments. Wondie also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Ethiopian Renaissance Journal of Social Sciences and the Humanities and has held the position of Director General for the Teaching/Learning Core Process. Additionally, Wondie is a Fulbright Senior Research Scholar at the University of Montana and a Fellow with NAFSA, the Association of International Educators.
