Brigid Johnson

Brigid Johnson is an experienced educator and consultant with a focus on classical studies, Latin, and language education. Currently serving as an English Specialist and Adjunct Professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha since August 2021, Brigid also works as a teacher and tutor at Outschool, offering courses on the classical world. Brigid has held various roles, including Trainer at the Center for Teacher Effectiveness and College Savings Associate at T. Rowe Price, along with founding Alpha to Omega, which aids students in their academic and career journeys. Previous teaching positions include Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Pikes Peak Community College and Latin Teacher at both Thomas MacLaren School and Omaha Public Schools. Brigid holds a Master of Arts in Classics from Tufts University and a Bachelor of Arts in the same field from the University of Iowa.
