Cam Bexten

Cam Bexten is currently the Director of Development for the UNO College of Communications, Fine Arts and Media at the University of Nebraska Foundation. Cam has a long and varied history of working in the Omaha community, with a focus on arts and education. Cam's previous positions include Community Opera Fellowship Manager at Opera Omaha, Project Coordinator at the Service Learning Academy - University of Nebraska at Omaha, and Staff at Classical 90.7 KVNO. In each of these positions, Cam has excelled at developing and maintaining relationships with a wide variety of community partners, facilitating ongoing evaluation, effectively communicating program goals and outcomes, and managing cross-disciplinary programs. Cam's work has had a profound impact on the Omaha community, and they continue to be a leader in arts education.

The educational career for Cam Bexten is as follows: a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in the field of Public Administration, a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management, a Master's degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in Music Performance with an Emphasis in Theory, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in Music Performance, General.
