Jiyoung Lee

Jiyoung Lee is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, focusing on disaster risk management and hazard mitigation planning, with specific research on private levees' impacts during disasters and land development analysis using GeoAI techniques. Prior to this, Jiyoung served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Louisiana State University, assisting in geospatial applications and aerial photo interpretation courses. Jiyoung's experience also includes a role as a Graduate Research Assistant at LSU AgCenter, where a website was designed to provide freeboard information to the public, and previous graduate research and teaching assistant positions at Louisiana State University and Sungshin Women's University. Jiyoung holds a PhD in Geography, an MS in Computer Science, and two degrees in Geography from Sungshin Women's University.
