Satveer Kaur-Gill Ph.D.

Satveer Kaur-Gill PhD, MSc is currently an Assistant Professor of Health and Well-Being at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln since August 2023. Previous experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy & Clinical Practice from May 2022 to August 2023, specializing in health disparities, health communication, end-of-life care, and provider-patient communication. Satveer held various roles at the National University of Singapore, including Instructor and Research Assistant from 2018 to September 2021, and Teaching Assistant from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, Satveer worked as a Corporate Communication Manager for the Housing & Development Board from 2011 to 2012. Educational credentials include a PhD in Communication and Media Studies from the National University of Singapore (2019), a Master of Science in International Public Policy from UCL (2011), and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the National University of Singapore (2010).
