Portia Gordon

Portia Gordon, LPC-S, RPT-S, currently serves as the Director of Counseling and Health Services at the University of New Orleans since July 2021 and is the Founder of Turning Point Counseling LLC, active since June 2020. Prior to these roles, Portia held the position of GNO Counseling Director and Counselor at Sexual Trauma Awareness & Response (STAR) from April 2013 to June 2021, and completed a Counseling Student Internship at Trinity Counseling and Training Center from May 2012 to May 2013. Portia Gordon obtained a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University of Louisiana (2010-2013) and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the same institution (2006-2010).
