Stevica Cvetkovic

Stevica Cvetkovic, PhD, serves as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Nis, with a focus on teaching Digital Image Processing, Multimedia Compression, Video Processing, and Digital Television. Research interests include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision. Stevica has contributed to the medical field as a Research Software Engineer on a project supported by the Serbian Ministry of Science, where core components of a Medical Information System were designed and implemented. Previous experience includes leading a team in automotive software development at SYRMIA, working as a Software Engineer for ABB Switzerland Ltd., and developing a Medical Information System at Diyomisoft. An internship at the Polytechnic University of Madrid involved researching object detection and tracking. Stevica holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Computer Vision and Computer Science, respectively, from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Niš.
