Heather Lamb

Heather Lamb, PhD, currently serves as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Library Science at the University of North Texas, a position held since May 2024. Prior to this role, Heather Lamb enjoyed a distinguished career in education, retiring as a Teacher-Librarian and District Lead Librarian at Castleberry ISD after a tenure that began in November 2017. Heather Lamb also worked as a Teacher Librarian at A.V. Cato Elementary within Castleberry ISD from July 2016 to November 2017 and previously served as the Marketing Advocacy Manager for Education at SMART Technologies, where responsibilities included product development and user experience. Earlier roles included Educator and Library Media Specialist in the Irving Independent School District and a 5th-grade self-contained teacher in Kilgore ISD. Heather Lamb earned a PhD in Learning Technologies from the University of North Texas and holds a Master's in Library Science from the same institution, as well as a Bachelor's in Education from the University of Texas at Tyler.
