Christopher Murphy currently serves as the Director of Regional Development at the University of Notre Dame, a position held since 2010, where responsibilities include representing the University to key benefactors in the Chicagoland area and collaborating with academic leaders and colleagues in Development to align donor interests with the University’s needs. Prior to this role, Christopher gained extensive experience in corporate and investment banking, holding management positions at leading firms such as Citigroup, JP Morgan, and Banc of America Securities, where duties encompassed financial consulting, corporate finance advisory, and capital market services for mid-cap and large-cap clients across various sectors. Christopher holds an MBA in Finance, Taxation, and Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Management from Marquette University.
