James Keating

James Keating is an experienced professional in international education with a robust background in advising and program management. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Study Abroad at the University of Notre Dame, James manages various international programs, conducts student recruitment, and evaluates applicants to prepare them for studying abroad. Previous roles include Adjunct Faculty in International Relations at Emporia State University, where James developed and managed class syllabi, and Assistant Director of the Student Advising Center, focusing on student success and retention initiatives. Additional experience includes serving as a Study Abroad Advisor at the University of Northern Iowa, an Academic Advisor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and an Admissions Counselor at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. James holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Political Science, as well as ongoing studies in Peace Studies and German at esteemed institutions.
