Scott Kirner

Scott Kirner serves as the Senior Director for University Enabling Technology Services at the University of Notre Dame since September 1997, where responsibilities include developing and implementing a technology strategy aligned with the university's mission across various domains such as teaching, research, and administration. Scott also holds a role as a Term Assistant Teaching Professor at the Mendoza College of Business, teaching Cloud Computing, and previously acted as Interim Senior Director for Campus Technology Services. With extensive experience in IT leadership, enterprise architecture, and application services, Scott has managed significant technology initiatives and supported a wide range of infrastructure and application services. Prior experience includes multiple engineering roles at LexisNexis from 1990 to 1997. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science with honors in Computer and Information Science Engineering from The Ohio State University.
