Shane Leib

Shane Leib, FSA, MAAA, is a seasoned actuarial professional with extensive experience in actuarial research, development, and teaching. Currently serving as Director of Actuarial Research and Development at Moody's Analytics since August 2015, Shane has also held academic positions including Actuarial Science Director and Assistant Teaching Professor at the University of Notre Dame, and continuing lecturer at Purdue University. Previously, Shane worked as Vice President at Guggenheim Partners, leading financial analysis and risk management, and held various actuarial roles at GGY AXIS and Forethought Financial Services, where significant contributions included implementing actuarial systems and data warehouses. Shane's educational background includes dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Management Information Systems and Mathematics from Indiana State University, as well as an altMBA.
