Josh Poteet

Josh Poteet currently serves as the Assistant Director of Athletics Communications at the University of Oklahoma since January 2020, having previously held the position of Athletics Communications Assistant there. Prior experience includes working as an Athletics Public Relations Assistant for the SMU Mustangs from July 2019 to January 2020, and as Assistant Director of Team Communications for the San Antonio Commanders in the Alliance of American Football from January 2019 to April 2019. Additionally, Josh Poteet served as Media and Sports Information Coordinator for the Valero Alamo Bowl from July 2018 to January 2019 and completed a Corporate Communications Internship with the Oklahoma City Thunder in early 2018. Josh Poteet earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Media Communications from Oklahoma State University, graduating in 2018.
